Erasmus+ Project:  QAinAL - “Strategic Support on Strengthening the Quality Assurance Structures at the Private Higher Education Institutions in Albania”

Erasmus+ Key Action 2 on Capacity Building in Higher Education

Erasmus+ is the new EU Programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the period 2014-2021. The programme is based on previous EU programs (Tempus, Erasmus Mundus, Alfa, Edulink etc.) and provides opportunities for student and staff mobility, as well as capacity building projects. Developments in education, training, youth and sport can make a major contribution to help tackle socio-economic changes, the key challenges that Europe will be facing until the end of the decade and to support the implementation of the European policy agenda for growth, jobs, equity and social inclusion.

The Erasmus+ Project:  QAinAL - “Strategic Support on Strengthening the Quality Assurance Structures at the Private Higher Education Institutions in Albania”

The objective of this project is to establish and support quality assurance processes and mechanisms to ensure effective management and enhance teaching and learning at the private higher education institutions in Albania. The Project aims to support the private higher education institutions in Albania to achieve the priorities of the two key documents: “Increasing the impact of EU Development: an Agenda for Change” and “European Higher Education in the World”. The kick off meeting of the project was held from 29th February to 2nd of March.
